This briefing examines the problem of Europe’s methane emissions, and how it can be tackled as part of a phase-out of fossil fuels.
It particularly looks at the opportunities provided by the European Commission’s proposal for an EU Methane Regulation and the adjustments needed in the proposal.
Supporters are invited to sign the Methane Manifesto and add their name, or the name of their organisation, to calls to rapidly reduce methane emissions and phase out fossil fuels.
