We are the largest grassroots environmental network in Europe, uniting 32 national organisations with thousands of local groups as part of Friends of the Earth International. We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Resource and Finance Coordinator. This role is integral to the financial stewardship and resource management of our organisation, dedicated to environmental and social justice. We are looking for a skilled finance and resources manager that is looking to work in a vibrant international team, with network member groups across Europe, and with growing number of projects and budget.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance financial operations and legal compliance.
- Develop, manage and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems.
- Coordinate annual budget planning, monitoring and reporting.
- Manage (supervise and support) the finance, grant management and fundraising staff and coordinate their work.
- Provide leadership and foster team development.
Requirements for the role-holder:
- Strong commitment to, and passion to match, the values, vision, and mission of Friends of the Earth Europe;
- Fluency in English and French.
- Experience in financial management and fundraising, especially within the EU context and EU funding and project management.
- Strong skills in line management and team leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
- Experience in working with an NGOs, preferably at EU or international level.
We offer:
The position is offered as an 80-100% permanent position in Brussels, Belgium. We offer a salary between 4390 € and 6047 € gross (for 100%), depending on a competency assessment.
FoEE offers an attractive benefits package, including a 13th month salary, lunch vouchers, an additional 5 days of holidays per year, pension scheme, hospitalisation and comprehensive travel insurance. We also offer full coverage of train travel in case of commuting within Belgium. FoEE offers a motivating working environment in an international office located in an environmentally-friendly NGO building.
To carry out the job, the team member must be based in Belgium. The job is subject to FoEE’s teleworking policy, which allows for hybrid working.
