Call for tender: Communications support for FoEE’s work on the EU-Mercosur trade agreement

This will be a framework contract with the consultant, meaning detailed planning and budgeting will be required for the general communications work after signature of the contract.
Introduction to FoEE
Friends of the Earth Europe (FoEE) campaigns at the heart of Europe for sustainable and just societies and for the protection of the environment. We are the largest grassroots environmental network in Europe, uniting 32 national organisations with thousands of local groups as part of Friends of the Earth International. Our vision is of a peaceful and sustainable world, founded on social, economic, racial, gender and environmental justice and free from all forms of domination and exploitation.
FoEE is funded through grants from the European institutions, foundations and membership fees.
The task for the consultant
The consultant is expected to provide the following:
General communications work
- Copywriting for web and publications
- Editing and proofreading text in English
- Content creation for social media
- Coordination the production of videos and other materials with external suppliers
- Drafting and sending press releases
- Joining calls with FoEE staff for briefing, creative input, planning, consultation, sharing progress, evaluation etc
In particular we need the following outputs
- Video with testimonies of human rights defenders and Indigenous people who are affected by agribusiness expansion and deforestation;
- Blogs or infographics documenting: (1) deforestation levels, (2)
climate emissions/impacts, and (3) human rights impacts of agribusiness expansion and practices in Mercosur countries; - Background paper on the same 3 issues which could include case studies
- Social media activities to promote our materials and other EU-Mercosur related activities
Please provide:

- your relevant experience;
- any other experience you deem relevant to support your offer;
- your financial offer including hourly or daily rates, including VAT;
