Denmark is proving it can happen. Earlier this year, pig factories became the defining issue of a national election, and voters delivered a government pledged to curb factory farming. If it can happen there, why not in your country too? Across Europe, groups have already been coming together to form a community of resistance. We have decided to join forces to oppose industrial livestock production and defend a peasant farming that is localised and respectful of people, animals and planet.
Several European countries are experiencing the devastating impacts of an intensive agricultural model often championed by our governments and supported by big business – wrecking natural habitats, biodiversity, local communities, human health and people’s well-being.
Join us in November to contribute to a powerful movement.
Be part of the second edition of the European Days of Action Against Animal Factories in the week of 23-29 November 2026.
We are part of the solution: We represent and support communities living close to such factories who are taking action and demanding local, regional and national governments to take responsibility and ensure their right to healthy water, air, good living conditions. We simply want our rights as citizens to be respected.
Why now? Denmark just showed it’s possible to change the system. Let’s use this momentum to push the rest of Europe to follow suit. Animal factories are still on the rise and citizens and our planet pay the bill. Polluted water, air and soil, an industrialised
countryside, people who can’t even open the windows of their homes … We need to act now!
Let’s make November powerful, colourful and say it loud: PUT AN END TO ANIMAL FACTORIES!
Film screening, picnics, photo actions, hikes in nature, online events –there should be no limits to any creative ideas! Activities should be documented, and widely promoted and amplified.
The voices of smallholder farmers and factory farming-affected communities should be highlighted and placed at the forefront in all possible occasions throughout the events.
What we want: We call for a transition of Europe’s food and farming system – business as usual is not an option any more. We need policy makers and policies that defend the interests of people, animals and the environment. We need farms not factories.
Join us to call for an end of animal factories!
