Faced with the rise of agribusiness and its factory farm system, we have decided to join forces to oppose industrial animal production and defend sustainable farming systems that are localised and respectful of animals, nature and workers. Several European countries are experiencing the devastating impacts of an intensive agricultural model often championed by our governments and supported by big business – wrecking natural habitats, biodiversity, local communities, people’s health and well-being. Rural areas and our food have been polluted for decades by toxic pesticides, antibiotics, artificial fertilizers.
Join us in November to contribute to a powerful movement.
Be part of the European Days of Action Against Animal Factories in the last week of November 2025 – 24-30th.
We are part of the solution
We represent and support communities living close to such factories who are taking action and demanding authorities to ensure our fundamental right to healthy water, air, living conditions instead of poisoning us by prioritizing industrial profit. We simply want our rights as citizens to be respected.
Why now?
Animal factories are on the rise and people and our planet pay the bill. A recent investigation of AGtivist shows that there are 24.000 industrial-scale pig and chicken factories only across Europe. At the same time more and more people do not have access to healthy water and air in rural areas, and are getting sick. We need to act now!
Let’s make November powerful, colourful and say it loud: PUT AN END TO ANIMAL FACTORIES!
Film screenings, picnics, photo actions, hikes in nature, online events, demonstrations – there should be no limits to any creative ideas! Activities should be documented, and widely promoted and amplified.
Moreover, the voices of smallholder farmers and factory farming-affected communities should be highlighted and placed at the forefront in all possible occasions throughout the events.
We want
We call for a transition of Europe’s food and farming system – business as usual is not an option any more. We need policy makers and policies that defend the interests of people, animals and the environment. We need farms instead of factories.
Join us to call for an end of animal factories!
